Words of Children

Hello everyone, this Wednesday I am going to share two wonderful works from younger children – my siblings. Today we had a poetry tea time where everyone had to write (or speak) their own poem, including my 3-year-old sister. I am going to share with you both hers and Katie’s work, allowing you to see a wide spread of age. Do enjoy!

(Abigail, 3 years old)

Baby was drawing.
Baby was getting food.
Baby can’t reach it!
Oh no!
Her mom gave it to her.
The baby gaga.

A Cat Who is Tired

(Katie, 12 years old)

There was a cat
That was lazy as
Could be…
She would move
Like a sloth
(If she even walked
at all) She would
Wobble and bobble
Across the wood
